Fiona won a scholarship to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama after gaining a 1st Class honours degree in music at Birmingham Conservatoire. She has been the subject of a BBC documentary and has studied with Julian Pike, Robert Dean and Marie McLaughlin. Fiona has won numerous awards and scholarships, most notably the Countess of Munster Musical Trust, the Ian Fleming award, the Crompton Lied Award and First prize in the John Warner memorial competition. Fiona was chosen by Kate Rothschild and Ben Goldsmith to be the soloist at their 'wedding of the decade'. A review in The Spectator deemed her performance "worthy of Callas". |
